Chelsea attacker Willian, has considered moving to Arsenal as his priority.
The Blues winger is set to depart in the summer having rejected a two-year contract offer from the club, with Arsenal strongly linked with the Brazilian winger.
The midfielder comes off contract at the end of Chelsea’s Champions League campaign and his agent Kia Joorabchian has been in talks with Arsenal about a potential move.
The Mirror says Willian has told friends he wants to see the move happen and is excited by the prospect.
The Brazil international was keen not to relocate his family out of London and is happy and the chance to work with fellow Brazilian Edu are the reasons Arsenal are favourites to secure Willian’s signature.
Despite wanting the 31-year-old to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea have refused to offer more than a further two years – and the chances of him being a Chelsea player when the new season begins in five weeks now look uncertain.
The Chelsea winger is known for his directness on the pitch, his hardwork and his pace. The 31 years old has helped Chelsea secure a top four spot this season which automatically guarantees their participation in the Champions League.
Willian made 47 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions and finished the season in fine form with four Premier League goals after the restart.
Along with Chelsea, Inter Miami have also been turned down after they tabled a two-year deal.
