Arsenal are considering a sensational transfer for Burnley stopper Joe Hart. The Gunners are short of numbers in the Goalkeeping position following the injury to first-team goalkeeper Bernd Leno.
The German landed awkwardly after a collision with Brighton forward Neal Maupay and was pictured in crutches after the game. There are reports that the stopper is unlikely to play this season which could place the club in a difficult position.
It is thought that Hart is being considered as potential competition for second choice stopper Emiliano Martinez. The England international is set to leave Burnley next week when his contract expires and would be available on a free transfer.
The 34 year old has not had the best of season playing second fiddle to Nick Pope at Turf Moor. A move to the Emirates would be a good one for the veteran stopper who could add experience to the team.
Arsenal have been on a poor run of form since the resumption of the League losing two games in a row to Manchester City and Brighton.
