PSG chief Leonardo is keen on bringing Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi back to France.
The young midfielder has not played for Arsenal since his bust up with Brighton forward Neil Maupay at the end of the defeat at the Falmer Stadium.
After the game, reports materialized that Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was opened to selling the midfielder in the summer.
Italian tabloid Tuttosport now claims that PSG chief Leonardo is confident that Arsenal are willing to sell in the summer.
The Brazilian is regarded as one of the best sporting directors in the game and has begun talks with Guendouzi’s representatives.
Guendouzi is regarded as a top talent but reports of indiscipline have begun to surface in recent weeks. Club boss Mikel Arteta is not pleased with this and revealed why he has been dropped in recent games.
“It is the same reasons as last week. “Some things have to change and nothing has changed.”
It would be interesting to see how this news develops in the coming days.
