AC Milan are ready to make a bid for out of favour Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko. The French international just returned from French side AS Monaco and has been told to find a new club by Chelsea.
Bakayoko is said to be interested in making a permanent move from the London club with a number of teams interested in his services. It is understood that French giants PSG have indicated an interest in the midfielder.
However, Milan has the edge as the former Monaco ace enjoyed a loan spell with the club some seasons back. The Italian outfit have prioritized signing Bakayoko with the club likely to sell the pair of Lucas Paqueta and Ismael Bennacer.
The final decision rests with Chelsea as the Blues are unwilling to drop their asking price of €35million for the midfielder.
Bakayoko is a quality midfielder and can easily recapture his best form at the right club. It will be interesting to see how this develops with Chelsea currently on a spending spree with the transfers of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.
