Chelsea have been linked with a move for Manchester United midfielder Angel Gomes.
The talented midfielder is expected to leave the club following confirmation from manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Monday.
This has drawn speculations and The London Evening Standard reports that Chelsea are keen on the youngster.
The report further claimed that United were prepared to offer a deal worth over £30,000 a week for the player but talks stalled between both parties.
Gomes was highly rated within the United academy but has failed to break into the first team consistently.
The development of Mason Greenwood has taken the shine of the player once tipped to be a United stalwart.
Chelsea are known for swooping for highly talented youth products and Gomes fits the bill. Furthermore manager Frank Lampard has shown his ability to develop youth players with the Blues boasting of one of the youngest squads in the League.
The coming days would provide clarity in Angel Gomes future with other clubs across Europe interested in his services.
