Tottenham and Chelsea are reportedly locked in a race to sign Amiens forward Serhou Guirassy.
Guirassy has been one of the standout players in France this season and was linked with a move to Liverpool in January.
It is reported in France that Amiens are opened to selling and have placed an asking fee of £17 million for the striker.
Spurs are looking for an ideal backup for Harry Kane and have identified the striker as an excellent fit.
Guirassy is hardworking, disciplined and clinical in front of goal. Tottenham suffered this season due to their dependency on Kane as he suffered a long term injury.
Chelsea pose a formidable threat as the Blues are also keen to strengthen the attack.
The likes of Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi are expected to leave in the summer leaving Tammy Abraham as the only senior forward in the team.
It will be interesting to see how this transfer pans out in the coming weeks
