Liverpool have made concrete moves to sign Lille forward Victor Osimhen according to reports from England.
The Liverpool Echo claims that the club have met with Lille officials about a possible move for the Nigerian international.
Osimhen has been a sensation this season following his move from Belgium in the summer. The 21 year old has proven to be clinical in front of goal netting 18 times in all competitions.
Liverpool are particularly impressed with his ability to play across the front three and see him as a great understudy for the current deadly trio of Mohammed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
It is understood that Lille are demanding an asking price of £50 million for the forward. There are also reports that Tottenham and Arsenal have also expressed interest in the Nigerian striker.
The Reds are known for their impressive transfer policy in recent years, Osimhen could be one of such transfer as he has massive potentials to become a world-class performer.
Liverpool are currently leading the Premier League table and considered one of the best teams in Europe.
