Manchester City are reportedly interested in Burnley winger Dwight McNeil according to reports from England. The Citizens are expected to lose German ace Leroy Sane and have begun to shop for replacements.
McNeil is seen as an ideal fit for the club with Manchester City sending scouts to watch the talented winger. It is claimed by ESPN that the FA Cup champions could be willing to make an offer in the summer for the player.
The report further says that Manchester City have given up in their quest to retain Sane and would be seeking a premium fee for the player who has less than 12 months left on his existing deal.
A transfer fee of £50million has been mooted by some sources and this funds would be used to sign McNeil McNeil has enjoyed a breakout season at Turf Moor and is regarded as one of the brightest young prospects in the EPL.
It is expected that the coming weeks could see the Premier League giants make an official bid for the player.
