Barcelona have joined a host of clubs interested in the signature of highly-rated Manchester United fullback Diogo Dalot. Spanish tabloid Sport claims that Barcelona have registered interest in the defender following excellent reviews from scouts.
It is understood that Barcelona inquired about Dalot from former team Porto, who were full of praise for the fullback.
Dalot has endured a stop-start stint at United with injuries largely limiting his time in the first team. The big-money move of Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the summer has also seen the Portuguese fullback fall down the pecking order.
United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has also preferred utilizing Dalot in advanced positions this season but with the impending arrival of key targets, the former Porto defender could be surplus to requirements.
Despite his less than stellar performances in England, several top clubs have expressed interest in the fullback. It had earlier been reported that French giants PSG had tabled a bid of £30 mullion for his services some days back.
United are understood to be considering offers within that region as they look to make good profits from the defender signed for around £15 million last season.
