Chelsea have begun concrete talks for PSG full-back Layvin Kurzawa according to reports from France. The defender had earlier been told that he would not be offered new terms by the Paris club and is set to leave in the summer.
Kurzawa has attracted the interest of several clubs in Europe and was close to a transfer to Arsenal last summer. The Blues view the Frenchman as an alternative to first-choice transfer target Ben Chilwell.
Kurzawa is said to be opened to making a switch to Stamford Bridge and talks have begun with his representatives. The attacking fullback is known for his attacking qualities but can sometimes pose a liability in defence.
Chelsea are looking to build a team that can compete for the Premier League next season and Kurzawa can be a decent squad player.
